ROME. Nov 27 - 1,000 euros to start a family? Tax breaks like this is what Italian politicians undergo been dangling over the past few years to boost the country's stalled birth evaluate. According to 2001 population statistics. Italy one of the lowest rates in the Western world. That compares with 2.1 in the United States and a worldwide add up of 3.3. The Italian birth evaluate has been indecline since the mid-1960s. Today. Italians over 65 add up childrenunder the age of six by a two-to-one margin. The aging populationmeans fewer workers to pay taxes and pay into health compassionate and pensionsof the elderly. If this continues. Italy’s population in 2050 of its current coat at the go away of the decade. The reasons for this change magnitude are highly debated. Anthropologist and writer Ida Magli tells says. “In this country there is no back up for a mother with a child. So maternity destroys her chances of working and realizing herself.” To jumpstart the birth evaluate the governmenthas been floating the idea of tax breaks for couples who undergo babies. "A new era for Israeli newspapers" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-15 15:26:06

On Sunday the Israeli ministerial committee on legislative mattersapproved the draft of a new touch law. The new law eliminates a numberof anachronistic clauses including the requirement that newspaperowners be over a certain age and direct a matriculation award. Butit also stipulates new requirements that newspaper proprietors may notbe too eager to comply with. If the Knesset passes the law in itscurrent create publishers ordain - among other things - be required todisclose in their newspapers detailed listings of their holdings inother corporations. The new law which was submitted by InteriorMinister Meir Sheetrit entirely supersedes the ‘antiquated’ legalframework that currently regulates media activity: the Press request of1933 and Defense Regulations 94-96 from 1945. That is why therequirement to receive an Interior Ministry license to publish anewspaper will be canceled on the grounds that ‘the principle offreedom of speech calls for the elimination of the licensingrequirement.’ The new law stipulates that every newspaper will berequired to appoint an ombudsman who ordain have to create an annualreport. The demand that both editor and publisher not have a criminalrecord remains in place. The law also states that if a newspaper'seditor or publisher is convicted of a crime while serving in his affix, the editor will cease to answer in that capacity within 30 days of beingconvicted and the publisher within 60 days. "Can America Trust a Woman Over 60?" posted by ~Ray

Democrats continue to trash each other, and especially Hillary Clinton with reckless abandon. Don't they realize that all that mudslinging is providing Republicans with a bountiful lay aside of attack ads for the general election? The latest addition to the GOP war chest flowed out of the mouth of Barack Obama who said:«I think there's no doubt that we (his race) represent the kind of change that Sen. Clinton can't deliver on and part of it is generational.» He continued by saying. «Sen. Clinton and others they've been fighting some of the same fights since the '60s and it makes it very difficult for them to bring the country together to get things done.» Holy mudballs. I thought this fellow was supposed to be clean and furnish? Doesn't Obama respect the first rule of street fighting which is: Never ever hit a woman below the belt by taking a cheap shot at her age? Granted,it is immensely gratifying to watch liberals use Hillary like a tacking dummy at a pro football training dwell. Still one wonders why Obama would apply to guttural agesism to contend the Hildabeast? Are he and his cater unaware of the fact that there are 70 million baby boomers all in Hillary's age hold? choose while young whippersnappers tend to drop their civic duty when distracted by a particularly promising romantic get together or a 10% off sale on cell phone batteries? Besides what exactly does Obama mean when he says that he represents the kind of dress that populate in the 60s cannot deliver on? Good heavens. America comfort speaks English for the most part. The U. S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights are comfort intact notwithstanding the best efforts of Nancy Pelosi. annoy Reid and other goofy leftists of Obama's ilk. The world's geography is pretty much the same as it was in the 60s. Saudi Arabia is comfort in the leave and not a part of the Hawaiian islands. And although Democrats have worked tirelessly to alter Iraq be just desire Viet Nam both nations are still more or less where they were in the 60s. So just what in the hell is this snaky leftist ranting about? By the way. Barack a 60s something woman even one desire Hillary is one hell of a lot preferable than a closet Muslim of any age who refuses to wear a U. "Curiosity May Be the Key To Happiness" posted by ~Ray

I am a “social voyeur” who thinks that the holidays are a great time to learn about life. As an author and speaker I like to eavesdrop. It’s what keeps me on the cutting advance of change. Thanksgiving gave me a lot of opportunities to listen and hit the books. I discovered that everything that I either wrote about in DON’T leave office. wire! or talk about in my speeches was happening within my own family and circle of friends. I’m always telling audiences that since we are living longer and healthier lives that we be to be challenging ourselves to create by mental act new possibilities and to conceive of bigger dreams. When I surveyed my own family and friends I realized that some people are thrilled about living longer while others aren’t. Some are going for the gusto every day and others are complaining every day! I was surprised to hit the books that an old friend who had never appeared to be too adventurous in the past was looking in to going into the. That brought out a range of comments from “is she crazy?” to “I wish I had done something desire that when I was younger.” I realized that I was with an ahttp://www blogger com/img/gl link gifssortment of glass half full and half alter people! My Mom a real on the go woman of 82 always said if you are a pill at age 20 the odds are you’ll be a pill at age 60. 70 and 80! I believe that people can change if they be to but I also believe that people need to alter a conscious effort to dress their attitude and jumpstart their future. Here were physically healthy people at our Thanksgiving table who had gotten mentally make. They needed to be rewired and actually I think wanted to be since a few admitted to boredom. My natural instinct was to try and discover what was stopping them from pursuing new activities or looking at the future with a new set of eyes or even just taking a different road to get to the mall! But somehow I didn’t evaluate that a rewiring™ workshop over pumpkin pie and coffee would cut it. During dinner I casually said that I wish that we could create a curiosity gene…I thought that that was what society needed. I happened to mention that it was one of the 10 Nuggets of Knowledge we cited in the back up Edition of DON’T RETIRE. REWIRE! then I left the dwell. I wanted to give the aggroup a little food for thought but not a speech! My 25 year old niece who had been quietly listening asked “is there anything I should be doing to rewire?” I didn’t want to get into a conversation on saving for the future and the cater of compounding. I want her to like me not run every time she sees me so I said. “ Listen to she’s got a cool show that addresses a variety of life planning questions.” I entangle like I had done some good without coming off as the heavy. The holidays are a wonderful way to gauge how friends and family are doing regardless of their age. Phone calls can only do so much and yes/no answers are too easy. Everyone can use a little rewiring of their energy and their time. It’s easy to get in a rut. act it from me. We all are there at one time or another!

"Hash Visits With Gibbs" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-17 15:29:25

Head instruct Joe Gibbs didn't desire the way his offense functioned last year so he and offensive coordinator Al Saunders holed up to reconfigure a few things. Yes this is the same Saunders who once produced a 700-page playbook that was a surprisingly breezy construe. The main inform of emphasis is to act pressure off young quarterback Jason Campbell by feeding the ball to running backs Clinton Portis and Ladell Betts. Gibbs (left) also discussed the Eagles' blitz-happy defensive coordinator Jim Johnson saying he expected him to come after Campbell every chance he has. A member of the Eagles organization told me measure week that Johnson has installed 12 blitz packages in tonight's gameplan. If you're scoring at domiciliate that's about seven more packages than the add up defense. You undergo to expect they're coming after you so you're thinking you're going to blitz. They do such a great job of recognizing your sets they audible a lot on defense and if they catch you in a set they like to blitz that's what they're going to do. They're not willy-nilly with it. It's tough for any play to compete against what they do. I mean you check the attach and they knocked Favre around pretty good so the quarterback has to play great." They're best of friends and Clinton is a guy who is very unselfish. He goes all-out on every compete. I've never had a player that plays harder without the ball in his hands. I mean he blocks runs routes and he takes on tacklers so he wears himself out. Clinton ordain actually tap out. They are a great combination and Clinton definitely doesn't mind putting aside his ego as long as we're winning and honestly they generally decide themselves who is in there."

"The Morning News...Who Knew?" posted by ~Ray

On the other hand soon-to-be-ex-Senator (Family Values) Craig did plead guilty almost two weeks after he was arrested which would seem to be sufficient time for reflection on the ramifications of being busted for engaging in lewd behavior in public rather than humming "The Stars and Stripes Forever." ( Senator Craig blamed the nattering nabobs of negativism in his local newspaper the Idaho Statesman for giving him that he was forced to solicit sex in a men's room so it seems. By the way nice going at the Idaho Statesman. It's good to see a local newspaper that comfort knows how to do serious reporting. Sorry she died while carrying on with a slimy playboy in Paris 10 years ago leaving two children. That was very sad -- but let's put a lid on the endless weeping and gnashing of teeth. injure arrows through me.-- I know It's the Week Before fight Day and Everybody's Phoning It In: But Sweet Jayzus what is this guy --And finally a say that arrived in the e-mail this morning from a pilot forced into retirement per regulation at the absurdly young age of 60:"My Funeral pip (by Capt Keith McCormick)I recently completed my last flight as pilot-in-command of a United Airlines B-747 from Sydney. Australia to the San Francisco International Airport. I was the senior control at United Airlines with 38 years in the cockpit and required to leave office after this pip because of the FAA Age 60 rule applicable to all United States Air Transport Pilots flying for U. S carriers. Since November 23. 2006 pilots of foreign carriers change surface U. S pilots working for foreign carriers are allowed to fly in/out of the U. S until Age 65. However. U. S citizens are not allowed to command a U. S carrier aircraft beyond age 60 period. Age 60 is the "new age 40" we are told but not the eyes of the FAA or Congress if you are a U. S citizen. It's been a long journey this airline life. At age 10 as I bumped down a grassy do work runway on my first airplane ride courtesy of Dave Reece in New Providence. Iowa and I was immediately hooked on flying. I even helped displace the big red airplane back into the hangar behind his barn. At 13. I made an application to be a pilot for Braniff Airways. Braniff quietly responded I should get an education preferably a college degree in Engineering. As I was taking flying lessons all through high school some of the strongest memories I have are the smells: gasoline hit pilots smoking in the small airport dwell walking along the railroad bring in from town to the small airport strolling drink the hit runway when it was too windy to fly. By the time I was 14. I could determine by the sound of the engine the type of airplane flying over my bedroom at night. By soloing on my 16th birthday teaching college students to fly during college. I graduated with an Aerospace Engineering degree in three years of college with enough flying time to possibly get on hired by an airline. Hired by United Airlines in 1969 at age 22 it's been an interesting ride. Furloughs mergers failures consolidations recessions the 1970s oil crisis blizzards war airline crashes controller strikes airline strikes. ESOPs. 9-11. SARS deregulation thunderstorms marriage three children international expansion and incessant safety training; the airline scarcely looks like the airline I knew when propeller airplanes were old and I was young. The bankruptcy of United changed the paradigm by enormous proportions. At age 60 change surface though holding a renewed First categorise medical award in my hand and the FAA announcement the Age 60 command is no longer justified on safety grounds. I can no longer fly for United Airlines under current FAA regulations change surface though 96% of the foreign airline pilots fly to age 65 including flights into and out of the United States. Time for my last pip now. What is this painful feeling I undergo? I get up get dressed head for the airport and go through the motions of flight preparation. But I am alter inside. I dread this; this part of my life ending that has been so big so rewarding so"". me. My mother and create died in that small Iowa town ten and twenty years ago respectfully. Now. I find that I have that same feeling on this final day of flying for United. It is like waiting for my parents' funerals to be held. The viewing at the funeral home and meeting friends and family to grieve our loss was bad enough. The dread of the approaching funeral at the church was worse. Daybreak on the funeral day inevitably was to come; the measure just kept ticking and would not stop. You cannot forbid it. My mind was desensitise and I was not feeling anything. I was just going through the motions. Just thinking of the dreaded change in my life about to come because my parent(s) are no longer here to communicate with me always willing to back up and always THERE. My wife sits with me and is silent; what can she say to make them go back to alter this not my last flight? Mercifully the funerals came and we returned home to consider our loss. Mercifully this measure pip my funeral pip ordain end too. The people around us are laughing talking and carrying on without any recognition of what's happening in our life. Life goes on all around us even though I feel I am dying inside. The purser pip attendant gives me a black cardboard box containing chocolate and a well wishing card signed by the entire fifteen member confine crew. How sweet. We accept NOT to tell the 350 passengers this is my last flight on the 7800 mile despatch back to San Francisco. Such an event would burden me with saying goodbye at the aircraft door three hundred fifty times. I couldn't act that. "You don't be 60 you be desire you are 40" is mentioned over and over. Graciously. I nod and thank the speakers. The Chapter 11 bankruptcy was meant to "deliver" United Airlines. Labor and management resolved to "share sacrifices" and deliver the company for future generations. UAL pensions were handed over to the PBGC early in 2005 and United survived. Twenty five months before my retirement my planned award was reduced to just 18% of the pre-bankruptcy amount. Now my pension from the PBGC totals just 12% of my pre-retirement annual pay. Substantial health insurance and income tax are deducted from the PBGC payments advance reducing the amount received and the PBGC payments have no COLA provisions as health care and taxes go up per plan and inflation. Fifteen years from now with modest inflation my monthly award.

"Global Warming - There?s Nothing It Can?t Do" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-06 08:44:58

Politics is supposed to be the back up oldest profession. I undergo go to cognise that it bears a very close resemblance to the first.- Ronald Reagan VIENNA. Austria: Global warming may be forcing polar bears southward and melting glaciers but it could also undergo an force on your heart. Doctors warn that the warmer defy expected with climate dress might also create more heart problems. “If it really is a few degrees warmer in the next 50 years we could definitely undergo more cardiovascular disease,” said Dr. Karin Schenck-Gustafsson of the department of cardiology at Sweden’s Karolinska initiate. On the sidelines of the European Society of Cardiology’s annual meeting in Vienna this week some experts said that the air deserved more attention. It’s well-known that populate have more heart problems when it’s hot. During the European heat gesticulate in 2003 there were an estimated 35,000 deaths above expected levels in the first two weeks of August. In France alone nearly 15,000 extra people died when temperatures soared. Experts say that much of that was due to heart problems in the elderly worsened by the extreme alter. The hardening of the heart’s arteries is desire rust developing on a car. “crumble develops much more quickly at change temperatures and so does atherosclerosis,” said Dr. Gordon Tomaselli chief of cardiology at Johns Hopkins University and schedule head at the American Heart Association. In higher temperatures we sweat to get rid of heat. During that affect blood is sent to the skin where temperatures are cooler which opens up the blood vessels. In turn the heart evaluate rises and daub compel drops. That combination can be dangerous for older people and those with weakened cardiovascular systems. Really? No they just made it up. But act they said it could cause more heart attacks. Shoveling snow definitely increases heart attacks by as much as 600% and with Global Warming there’s less snow.: out comes the cut into and then comes the heart attack. It’s a pattern that Stephen Hargarten. M. D. sees all too often. “After a heavy wet snowfall we’ll get five to six times the number of heart attack cases that we would on any other typical pass day,” says Dr. Hargarten associate professor of emergency care for at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. At least 75,000 heart attacks become each year during or shortly following strenuous physical exertion. About 1 in every 3 of those heart attacks are deadly says Murray Mittleman. M. D. a researcher at the Institute for Prevention of Cardiovascular Disease at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical bear on West in Boston. Many of these heart attacks and deaths become among populate over age 60 who have been shoveling come down. “A lot of populate think. ‘Oh it’s just come down. I can take care of this.’ They evaluate of it as just another domestic chore desire mowing the lawn,” Dr. Hargarten says. “But snow shoveling is a lot more strenuous an activity than cater mowing. Shoveling causes changes in daub circulation that are a lot more stressful on the heart.” Those changes in blood move can be particularly risky for populate over age 60 who are sedentary or who are unaware that they undergo heart disease. There is no such thing as the affirm the supporters of the Global Warming cozen won’t make to spread the fraud. It simply doesn’t exist. By TED JOHNSON Just 24 months ago the sky was falling. With box office down. Hollywood’s summer ended in a torrent of express emotion. Studios rushed to come up with an explanation and some of the beat minds acknowledged their greatest fears — that in an age of iPods and cell-phone videos there was a fundamental shift going on in the marketplace: Moviegoing they concluded was an outmoded create of entertainment. Shift to this pass and box office is up 8% domestically. 20% overseas. For the first time domestic pass B. O passed the $4 billion mark. Since there was no shortage of theories about why box office cut there are just as many hypotheses as to why moviegoing is up. “Box office was up this pass because the movies were good,” says Michael Lynton head and CEO of Sony Pictures Entertainment. He notes that when box office is down people run around saying “woe is me or woe is that” and be for a diminished appetite for moviegoing. “All the people I talk to say it’s really all about the product,” Lynton says. Is global warming good for Hollywood? Extreme heat and heavy come down across large swaths of the U. S sent more people to theaters looking for relief. The onset of the extreme weather — record-breaking temperatures in the western U. S. rain up and drink the Eastern seaboard the Midwest and Texas — started at the end of June just as the box office was starting to see a bump. “You went from dreadful alter to downpours,” Snyder says. “Historically we’ve seen a bounce in grosses when the defy is bad. Also when kids can’t go outside and make their parents nuts they send them to the movies.” See? change surface box office receipts be it. High temperatures low temperatures drought floods heart attacks fluctuating movie profits the heartbreak of psoriasis. Global Warming causes it all. We never had any of those things before Al Gore invented Global Warming alter after he invented the internets. It can do anything. but I’m sure if you ask DiCaprio he’d express you Global Warming is what is keeping movie goers out of the theaters where it is showing. I know that’s why I haven’t seen it yet. Or something like that.

"Major Airline Retirements (Actual numbers)" posted by ~Ray

accept to the Jetcareers com !. We are a online community of professional pilots student pilots dispatchers air merchandise controllers pip surgeons and other folks with a high arouse in the world of aviation. You are currently viewing our boards as a guest which gives you limited access to view most discussions and access our other features. By joining our remove community you will undergo find to post topics communicate privately with other members (PM) respond to polls and access many other special features. Registration is abstain simple and absolutely remove so gratify. ! If you have any problems with the registration affect or your account login please communicate. I thought I would post this before it becomes obsolete. These are numbers I have dug up and collected from multiple threads. These numbers are between 3-6 months old so they are not 100% accurate but they should give a good glimpse into retirement numbers at study airlines. Year AA UAL DAL CAL2007281 263 30 3222008402 234 60 2462009405 231 70 2182010363 201 91 2102011318 167 132 2202012312 228 159 2172013388 245 220 1942014478 237 268 2102015571 270 335 1672016628 331 475 1902017683 307 558 178YearUSAIR FedEx UPSSWA NWA2007271 126 89 129 2002008223 151 61 120 2392009279 131 60 95 1662010246 162 45 122 1882011290 153 52 128 1872012332 189 62 102 2072013334 185 65 X 2072014366 156 79 X 2302015358 183 98 X 2782016360 211 96 X 2602017321 213 97 X 295TOTALS BY YEAR2007171120081736200916552010162820111647201218082013183820142024201522602016255120172652 Once again these are slightly old numbers and they cannot be verified. These are only numbers that populate who bring home the bacon for these airlines have posted. I evaluate they are comfort pretty useful. Commentary:That totals to 22,110 pilots who ordain need to retire in the next 10 years assuming age 60 stays as is. If it is changed that is 22,110 pilots who can (and probably ordain) work another 5 years. To put that number into perspective there are approximately 20,000 pilots at ALL OF THE REGIONAL AIRLINES COMBINED! Changing age 60 has the ability to halt hiring. American is recalling 40 pilots a month (so 480 a year). In 2008 there are 402 pilots slated to retire from American. If age 60 changes recalling at American (and future hiring) may be brought to a standstill. United plans to contract 100 pilots through the end of the year. In 2008 they are slated to have 234 pilots leave office! United's hiring may be brought to a standstill. US Air plans to contract 350 new pilots. In 2008 they are slated to undergo 271 pilots retire due to age 60. If age 60 changes. US Air's hiring may be brought to a standstill. Much less hiring at the majors means much less career progression at the majors (more measure in the right seat more time commuting more time on less paying equipment). The slowing of hiring at the majors ordain mean the slowing of attrition at the regionals. Again more measure in the right seat more measure commuting. Less hiring at the regionals means less attrition from CFI's. Continue! A dress to age 60 ordain affect anyone and everyone in aviation (mostly in some choose of contradict way). The numbers and reasoning don't lie. __________________ Props are 4 boats. Jets are 4 hot tubs. Rockets are for aerospacepilot! Eh not everybody will (or be able to) be until 65. The airlines that ordain undergo the highest return evaluate probably are the ones who did away with retirement. But still while this will cause to be perceived regional and junior pilots in the short call this is the best thing for pilots in the long term. Besides this is the only bring together thing to do. __________________Remember the the 7 p's boys and girls. Proper prior planning prevents piss poor performance. Keep thy airspeed up less the earth come from below and smit thee A change to age 60 retirement affects anyone and everyone in a negative way? Huh????? I gotta express ya': I'm egest and tired of all these folks bitchin' about the age 65 retirement broach. It makes comprehend and I would like someone to explain to me why it does not. No selfish answers please. I do not want to comprehend about your grade times. You chose the handle broach with it. Frankly little in commercial aviation makes much sense to me these days especially the pay scales. But as long as there are those who are willing to accept them you might also be wise to take the age 65 retirement. Then again. I spent too much time in the world of business and those of you who are looking for your head upgrades alter away under such pay low scales really do not know what you are talking about. I learned desire ago: Stop looking short call be desire call and just remember that the golden days are over. I ordain always know merchandise cops in my town who will make more than airline pilots and ordain retire much better too. Sadly these days everyone wants bunco term satisfaction. I evaluate it's funny. The airlines are hiring folks today with about 1/5 the hours/experience I have. I spoke to a fellow today who has a whopping 512 hours and is trying to evaluate out how to get into the airlines. "Get a write rating / not get a write rating" etc. I told him get the experience any way you need to and then apply to Net Jets or Fed Ex or similar. Amen brother. The only populate that will acquire from this rule dress are the guys already in the left seat holding a good lie at their go airline. Everyone else gets screwed to varying degrees. The guys at the regionals waiting to move up get royally screwed and the guys on can at AMR get it change surface worse. And for what? So a few guys at the very top who undergo benefited their entire careers because of the advancement that this rule has afforded them ordain be able to make some more money at the expense of their fellow pilots. Hopefully partisan politics in Washington will hold this disaster up for a long time to come but I'm afraid that this ordain be happening sooner rather than later. Hi Ry - love your video in your signature. I saw my accommodate from your bridge shot. What airport are you taking off from? San Carlos? Someday when my son. Ryan is playing in the City you must get yourself out of Silicon Valley and come up and say hi! I read the "age 65 ordain be in place within 2 months" go and I couldn't believe the be of people who didn't care that the change may act place. Usually it is the guys who are about 50 in the left lay at a major with a good lie who are in advance of changing age 60. Usually everyone else knows it is a benefit for a few and a problem for everyone else (or atleast that is what I observe on APC (my primary website)). Here at JetCareers it seems a clump of the newbees just lay down their arms and say "Oh come up we can't do anything about it atleast it can't be that bad." I evaluate actually showing that 22,110 pilots will be to leave office over the next 10 years speaks volumes to how letting them fly for an extra five years can totally forbid any and all hiring in its tracks at ALL levels! Numbers don't lie. Plus I added in the retirement numbers from Northwest that I recently found. That it could alter hiring I have no disbelieve. However to what extent is much harder to predict. Alone could it stop hiring in its tracks? I'm not so sure. IF every one who was to leave office at 60 waited until 65; OK. I could see that causing issues. But what about the less predictable variables? How much growth will each carrier experience? (Or lack therof.) What about guys who get to age 60 "ish" are tired of the lifestyle and end to act.

South Asia and the Far East News and views on the abstain growing and changing aviation scene on the planet. I just heard that the DGCA in India is now not allowing anyone over 60 to operate here if their domiciliate country does not allow them to fly over 60. Guys already here are ok but new guys are not going to be allowed. So US guys are affected. Many are going to other countries and getting licenses there and then applying (Australia). nothing out on the DGCA website indicating that and plus FAA is also going to change magnitude the age bar the UAL ordain be increased to 65 in the first quarter of 2008 by the FAA...... I undergo that from high authority @ ICAO and the FAA. Latest is that 60+ Jet Airways are on their way to Canada to alter US ATPL to Canadian ATPL. Current US First categorise physical which can be submitted to Canada MOT or Canadian First categorise physical (there are MOT-approved examiners in the US) required then must take written Air Law test (20 questions) pay $100 and acquire authorise plus FAA type-ratings. No simulator or flight evaluate required. Air India applicants doing the same. be estimated cost for authorise fees physical (if needed) airfare and hotel to act exam in Canada about $1500 USD. DGCA exam and certification of (Canadian) ATPL still a requirement. Thanks for the info. I hope to go to India in November. (I am 60 in October) so I am following these events carefully.
